Art Themes - Artist Challenge

This is a challenge of your skills and species knowledge. If you accept this challenge, please share the results with us. We hope you will find this something fun to do!

The Challenge

The idea is to draw an image of a female character of the species and in the style identified by each cel in the following table. This would be four images of a fox, four images of a coyote, and four images of a wolf.

I suggest putting the four drawings of a given species on a single sheet of paper. But, this is your choice.

Pencil or ink drawing. The idea is represent the species without depending upon colour clues.

Goals

(1) To make each species recognizable -- a test of your understanding of the major characteristics of each species.

(2) To draw a species, maybe even the same character, in the four major styles -- a test of your understanding of the major styles.

Specifications

Wildlife

This style can be either wildlife realistic (like the art of Carl Brenders) or wildlife cartoony (like Tod and Vixey from Disney's The Fox and the Hound).

Abstract or Deformed

This style can be minimal abstract, sillohette, or super deformed cartoony (anime style with character about 2 heads in height).

Cartoony

This style is my style. Simple cartoony. About 3 or 4 heads in height.

Anthro

This style is more human proportion. About 5 or more heads in height. An example would be Disney's Robin Hood.
