Call to action
This page started as a rememberance of the tragic events of 11 September 2001. Now, the page looks forward, with emphasis on what we can do.
That is the true spirit of Americans -- something from our Judio-Christian heritage -- that we are both quick to love and quick to exercise justice.
Remember 11 September 2001
On 11 September 2001, the United States of America changed. Evil men turned the instruments of freedom and commerce into weapons; destroying thousands of lives, national symbols of economic and military pride, and attempting to bring a nation to its knees in fear.
For many, instead of falling to their knees in fear, they have fallen to their knees in providing assistance and in seeking the wisdom and guidance from Almighty God.
Remember Iraqi and Afghanistan
America has been forced to face the horror of terrorism. This is not a war that the States wanted, but it is a war that the States must now fight. As President Bush said (my paraphrase) -- "we will fight this war with our marines, sailors, soldiers, and guards now so we don't have to fight it with our firemen, police, and doctors later".
Get involved
So, let's get involved. Find ways to serve and help those who are protecting you. These are just a few suggestions.
First, get started on your knees. Lift up those in service, the government, the military, and ministries and ask God's blessing and protection.

Our tribute comic strip
Attack on America : The Heartland Responds
We created a special tribute strip after the tragic event. Our goal was to celebrate the American response, considering that most of us only witnessed the horrible events by watching TV.
