He has what looks like a bite taken out of his left ear. I guess he got it fighting in his younger days. He is very casual. Wears dark jeans and T-shirts, often with a leather jacket.

Origin ...

Born in Colorado Springs, CO. I don't know much about his past except what he has shared to the students. He rebelled against everything when he was in high school, reaching a climax at college. He got into trouble with the law, lots of drinking, lots of girls, lots of parties, and more.

During his senior year at college, in Denver, CO, all of his fast living caught up with him. He lost control of his car while driving home from a keg party and plowed into a city bus -- injuring about 15 and landing him in hospital for several months. It was during rehab that he befriended a cancer patient going through cemotheraphy. Steve started asking his friend how he was able to stand the pain and sickness the cemo caused with such a positive and joyful attitude. The friend soon helped Steve understand and led Steve to accept Jesus, becoming a Christian.

Steve went back to school, to seminary, to become a youth pastor. He felt a calling to minister to teenagers and college students; to share his experiences in the hopes they would not make the same mistakes. Our little Church here in Apopka is his first Church ministry after graduating from seminary.

I met Steve at Church because I'm one of the helpers in the youth department. I really like Steve and I hope someday he will ask me for a date.

Most folks do a double take when they see Steve show up at the Church wearing his biker leathers, but the youth think he's "cool" and can relate with him.

He has a kind and sincere personality. He has that quiet strength and confidence. As a result, he is very popular and well accepted at the Church.

However, he does tend to be a little distant. He seems to be hesitant about getting close to people. Maybe this is a result of past guilt about the people in his past he had hurt, so he keeps a little reserved to avoid hurting anyone else. He can often be found riding through the hills on his Harley; getting away to think and be alone.

He's very close to his family, because even though he treated them badly during his rebellious years, they welcomed him back and supported him when he decided to turn things around. He's especially protective of his teenage brother, for obvious reasons.

Motorcycles and racing.

Mostly a romantic interest for Vicki. Also, the primary representative of Vicki's church. So, if a story involves some social activity sponsored by or supported by the church, then Steve will be the representation.
